Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach students insurance law and analyze the application problems of insurance law.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to define basic principles and types of insurance law.
  • Will be able to explain insurance companies and intermediaries.
  • Will be able to explain rights and obligations of insurance contract parties.
  • Will be able to compare different types of insurance.
  • Will be able to discuss the functioning of insurance sector.
Course Description The definition, conclusion, duration and types of insurance contract, the provisions of the insurance contract, the obligations of the insurer, the obligations and the extent of insurance coverage, the termination of the contract and analysis of liability insurances.
